After reading the 3 reviews I planned on finally having some good Jamaican food in west palm beach. The food was mediocre to say the least. The staff is unpleasant and it is next to a barbershop which is ran hand in hand...and as a female patron you don't want to be harassed as soon as you step out your vehicle but the food was not worth the drive.. Eatable if your local

A little take-out joint in a strip mall, with a small sit down counter and table area. Slightly sketchy strip mall location. The taste of the food is good, the quality of the oils or some ingredient doesn't seem that great - as I don't feel excellent after I eat a meal there.

Wanted to try some place new for lunch, and after reading previous reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Got the jerk chicken for carryout. Fantastic food and very friendly service. Will definitely be going back.

Nestled in between a barbershop and a laundromat in an unassuming strip mall, Curley's was a pleasant surprise in an area where there are many Jamaican/Bahamian/Caribbean restaurants, but not many GOOD ones. Number one, the menu is authentically Jamaican, with everything from saltfish and ackee to callaloo to escoviche to stewed cow's foot and tripe. Their patties and carrot cake are respectable as is their bammy. They also just added some roti dishes. Number two--it's only takeout (that's not true--there is some counter space and one table if you want to eat there, but the line of people ordering food around you will make you feel claustrophobic). Everyone generally takes it to go unless they are REALLY hungry. Number three--there's usally a line during lunch and dinner unless you call ahead. Be prepared to wait a little. On my first trip I had the oxtails; my lady had curry chicken. Both were incredible, with very deep flavors that only come from long cooking. I've since been back for the jerk chicken (of course), brown stew chicken, curry goat, fried chicken, and fish escoviche. All these dishes were incredibly delicious. The meals come with pigeon peas and rice and lightly cooked cabbage which is surprisingly tasty since I didn't like cooked cabbage until I tried theirs. They have a great lunch special that comes with a soda and they have great fresh juices. Don't try the ginger unless you can really take the heat. Take ginger beer and multiply by 10 to give you an idea of its spiciness. The only reason for less than 5 stars is the brown stew chicken I had. The sauce was great, but the bird I had was a little on the dry side. Granted this was near closing time, but still. My motto for restaurants is if in doubt, say you're out. Anyway, I can't wait to try the roti and get the oxtails again.

We showed up at 8pm and were told that the only items left on the menu were oxtail and curried goat. Not being very familiar with jamaican food, we ordered one of each. Delicious! The rice was also quite tasty, and the manager even fried sone extra plantains for us when he heard it was our first time. The service was a little gruff at first, but we would definitely recommend this place if you want some fast delicious food fast in a bare bones take out atmosphere.

I am from Jamaica and this is the best Jamaican food hands down. I love their fried chicken especially. I have had other Jamaican food and I always say to myself I should have went to Curlys. Curly has A class service and they always on point when I get there.

What can I say ordered ox tail and jerk chicken, dinner size, with a brown stew chicken, small sz for the kids, AMAZING...... They were out of beef patties( I ordered before closing) but had frozen ones available to take home and put in the oven, let me tell you AMAZING.... I was born and raised in New York and had my fair share of home made Jamaican food, Curly's gets my vote....

Stopped into Curly's because I'm a fan of Carribbean food and I heard this place was really good. I heard right! The stew chicken was amazing. It had a thick sauce that was loaded with flavor. It kind of had a mild coconut flavor that really makes it stand out from other Carribean chicken dishes in the area. Even the cabbage had a really good flavor. Overall I highly recommend Curly's. If you're not really into Carribean food...you will be after trying it from here!

Who knew that upon first look that this unassuming place in the middle of a strip mall would be my favorite discovery to date. Got lucky when doing a yelp search for nearby restaurants and the excellent reviews were spot on! My family and I shared the curry goat and curry chicken, both were incredibly fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. They came with mixed rice and beans that I NEED to get the recipe for stand alone that stuff was incredible- then adding the curry on top- pow! Also had some veggies with the plate and a sweet plantain both done perfectly! The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating of my family of 6, despite this being mostly a take a joint they do have one table and a "bar" table that wraps around the front window. They made sure we had all we needed and didn't flinch at the big mess our four young kids made (despite our best efforts) they simply had it mopped up in a flash. I also highly recommend the fresh bottled juices in the cooler. Will have to make this a must stop each time we drive through WPB- we are most definitely stopping back here on our way back up!

Awesome authentic Jamaican food! There are many Jamaican restaurants in palm beach county, but Curly's is hands down THE best! Some restaurants have good entrees, but just ok sides. Curly's entrees are awesome, the rice is great, the cabbage is good, and the service is great! I had jerk chicken, rice and peas with oxtail gravy and cabbage. Omg! So excited that I've finally found a Jamaican restaurant that has really good food!

This is my go-to place for Jamaican food that does not disappoint! I absolutely love their jerk chicken meal with the rice and peas and cabbage! (sigh) They have these fresh juices that are about $5 a bottle but filled to the rim with flavor! Every year, Curly's restaurant has this huge block party and invites everyone to come enjoy good food, good music and mingle! Wish it was closer to my house so I could enjoy it more!!! Delicious!!

After reading the previuos reviews, I couldn't wait to try Curly's. VERY glad that I did. I just had some of the best Jerk Chicken w/rice and peas that I have eaten. The steamed cabbage was very unique and very good also! Highly reccomend this place, although it does look a bit sketchy from the outside.PLEASE don't let that deter your visit!!
